Roberto Abdenur is a foreign policy specialist who served as Brazil's ambassador to Washington, Bonn, Vienna, among other posts. Sergio Abranches is a Brazilian political scientist who writes regularly about the environment at www.ecopolitica.com.br and www.ecolpolity.com. José Roberto Afonso, is an expert on fiscal policy. He earned a Masters degree in economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He is currently a staff adviser to the Brazilian Senate. Alberto Carlos Almeida is a political scientist at the Institute Análise in São Paulo www.institutoanalise.com. His books include Cabeça do Brasileiro (Editora Record 2009), a survey of Brazilian values and attitudes.  Alberto Lourenço, an urban planning expert, is Secretary of Sustainable Development at the Brazilian Secretariat of Strategic Affairs. Marcelo Neri is head of the Centro de PolÃticas Sociais (www.fgv.br/cps) and EPGE, at the Fundação Getúlio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Amaury de Souza is a political analyst at MCM Consultores in São Paulo. He writes frequently about foreign policy and is the author of A Agenda Internacional do Brasil: a PolÃtica Externa Brasileira de FHC a Lula (Campus-Elsevier/Cebri 2009).
